new your car is.. You said you had porting done to your car. Re-read your post and see. I dont know what you consider porting, but it typically makes a noticeable difference from stock. Where you are using the AFC to keep your fuel curve at ~13 around 5600RPM I'd bet was running lean and you richened it up.. When you did that, you pushed the theoretical pulsewidth up, which retarded your ignition timing. That's why your power curve gets all werbly there. This is the problem with AFC's, when you make a change to the A/F, it screws with your ignition timing indirectly so you are trying for a best-fit scenario every time; balancing between A/F and timing to make power. But since you dont know what the timing map points are, you are only making a guess at tuning. Typically though, when you go leaner with an AFC, you will make the ECU drive a more advanced spark, which will make more power. Having the ability to tune the fuel and timing independently is where its at.
